An excellent display of hockey was on show at the latest S1-3 youth hockey festival held at Penicuik High School last week.
The standard continues to improve with every festival and there are now strong S1-3 teams across all the high schools.

Two players from Lasswade attended and played for the All Stars team, which also included three Newbattle players and four Peni
cuik players.

Newbattle were missing their best player, who was injured, but they still gave a good account of themselves.

Dalkeith were unable to attend but will be hosting the S1-6 Festival on December 9.
